MAKE MY DAY

I have this student, G, whom I adore. He’s kind of unassuming, but he works really hard and he's thoughtful about the things we cover in class.

G: “Hey, Wren, do we live in a capitalistic society?”
W: “Yeah, our country works as a market economy.”
G: “Uh, what’s the name of that other way of living?
The one where everyone is equal?”
W: “You mean socialism?”
G: “Yeah that! I think that would be better for us.”
