A COMPREHENSIVE LIST
Today I had my environmental science classes get into small groups and research six separate recyclable materials. The first of several questions they had to address was, "List everyday examples from your category." The group research glass came up with the following: light bulbs, bottles, mirrors, eyeglasses, bongs and windows.
Oh good. They didn't forget bongs.

Are you on vacation or something? Just curious.

Eh no. Thanks for asking Anon, but I have been, simply put, uninspired lately. I seem to have temporarily misplaced my gumption. I already checked the folds of my sofa, the medicine cabinet and the miscellaneous kitchen drawer. I even posted fliers around the neighborhood with a picture of my gumption doing that pathetic puppy-dog-eye-thing with the phrase, “have you seen me?” scribbled at the bottom.
Nothing.
Don’t get me wrong, stupid things are still happening to me daily. Like that guy I work with who was shamelessly boasting to me about his amazing GRE scores and his brief sojourn with Mensa. I mean that shit was gauche! But when I try to write about it, it ends up looking like pasty shite.
What IS a bird to do?

The stupid things that happen to you are what keep me going at work. Anyway, Mensa is for those nerds that have nothing better to do with all that stuff in their heads. I hope you find it soon...your gumption.

Aw, that's nice.
Thanks and thanks.
